GREEN UC4 KD Incised with 15 year warranty, chamfered and 4-way pointed. All posts are impregnated with Tanelith to Use Class 4. Raw material is taken from slow-growing Baltic logs. Each post comes with a 15 year performance guarantee that meets the requirements of both BS8417 and IS436 UC4 ground contact.

GREEN UC4 PINE KD with 15 year warranty, chamfered and 4-way pointed. All posts are impregnated with Imprealit KD to Use Class 4. Availability is limited due to export restrictions from Belarus.

CUNDY PEELED – We supply a range of green-treated Cundy Peeled posts.

A note on heartwood. Heartwood is the red centre of a post (it is clearly visible in the above photo). It will vary in size. Heartwood is exceptionally difficult to impregnate with chemicals as the cells are resistant to fluid flow. However heartwood will not decay or lose strength as it’s cells contain very little “food” for fungal attack. It is the outer sapwood that should always be fully impregnated to ensure a long lasting ground-contact post.
